ANALYSIS OF THE TRAINING NEEDS OF YOUTH LEADERS

In a collaborative effort under the Erasmus+ “Youth in Europe” project, partner organizations from Spain, Ireland, Lithuania, and Croatia have unveiled an online questionnaire. This initiative invites not only young people but individuals of all ages to provide their insights. The survey is designed to meticulously gather data on the training needs concerning various aspects of the European Union. These aspects include the EU’s foundational principles, the history of European integration, the values and symbols that define the Union, the operational dynamics of EU institutions, and the frameworks of policies and programs. Moreover, it aims to assess the level of active participation among the youth in EU matters. The ultimate goal is to leverage the findings from this survey to develop an online course that is both informative and reflective of the community’s educational needs on the subject of European citizenship and participation. This endeavour underscores the project’s commitment to fostering a well-informed and actively engaged citizenry in the democratic processes and civic life of the European Union.
