First Transnational Project Meeting

In order to coor­di­nate the first phas­es of the project and clar­i­fy doubts, rep­re­sen­ta­tives of the four organ­i­sa­tions (Ini­cia­ti­va Inter­na­cional Joven, Aktyvis­tai, Friends of Europe Tis­no, Trav­el­ogue APS and Devel­op­ment Per­spec­tives), we met on Feb­ru­ary 8 and 9 in Italy for our first Transna­tion­al Project Meet­ing.

This meet­ing was host­ed by the Ital­ian organ­i­sa­tion of the project, Trav­el­ogue APS, and it took place in Peru­gia.

The main aim of our project, which is co-found­ed by the Euro­pean Union, is to raise aware­ness among youth lead­ers and young peo­ple on the impor­tance of edu­ca­tion on Euro­pean cit­i­zen­ship, with spe­cial empha­sis on the prin­ci­ples, val­ues and func­tion­ing of the Euro­pean Union, as a basis for demo­c­ra­t­ic con­struc­tion and active civic par­tic­i­pa­tion.
